Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Sporty styling (especially with red/black interior), upscale features
Cons: Driving experience much less sporty than I'd hoped, less attractive than big bro Murano
The Bottom Line: Performance about even with the leaders, but less sporty than I'd hoped. Upscale features and sporty styling help compensate.

Back in the mid-1990s, Honda and Toyota recognized the need for a vehicle that combined car-like dynamics with the utility and styling of an SUV, and created a new market segment with the CR-V and RAV4. In the years since they've totally redesigned these ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Good MPG, peppy CVT, Intelligent Keyless Entry, plenty of room
Cons: Can't get power heated seats w/out leather, seat issue for short people
The Bottom Line: If you want a small SUV with AWD and decent gas mileage, you should definitely check out the Rogue - well built, well appointed.

--------------Update: I've had my Rogue for exactly one year today - and I STILL love it! I've had NO problems with it. I use the flip-up plastic bin in the back for stuff I don't want to get on the carpet - bags of fertilizer, plants, paint ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great features at a very attractive price, especially in the AWD SL edition.
Cons: Missing just a few extras, no nav option, poor center console design.
The Bottom Line: Those shopping for CRV or RAV4 should definitely give the Rogue a spin. Even those looking at spendier crossovers might consider it.

I have been shopping crossovers with my wife for a couple of months now and we recently got an extended test drive with the Nissan Rogue at our local Nissan Dealer. I had read some press on the Rogue a few months ago and knew that Nissan was going to ...

Pros: Good gas mileage, comfortable, quiet ride, visually appealing and I expect excellent reliability.
Cons: Pricey options, no Bluetooth availability on the 2WD SL, poor rear window visibility.
The Bottom Line: More things to like about the Rogue than not. Beats the competition in a number of categories including, comfort, gas mileage and interior styling.

Vehicle Purchased: 2008 2WD Nissan Rogue SL with Premium Package, splash guards, rear bumper protector, moonroof, floor mats and roof rails. MSRP: $24,640 Let's face it. Buying a new car can be painful. It requires answering dozens of ...

Pros: Gorgeous, drives well.
Cons: New in the US
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car if you have a little faith!

About a week and a half ago, I was stopped at a red light in my 2002 Nissan Altima and was smashed from behind two times. As a result of this accident where luckily no one including my 17 month old son was harned, I was impressed with the Nissan Altima. ...

Pros: Love it.  Responsive, excellent handling.  Comfortable, roomy interior. Leather, heated seats a real bonus.
Cons: Nothing to note at this time.  (6000 km)
My Nissan Rogue, (2008).  Sleek, dynamic design.  Very sporty and a real eye catcher.  Roomy inside, with lots of room for extra passengers, and good carrying capacity for groceries, and when needed - my mountain bike.
Real head turner when driving down the street.
