Pros: Comfort, safety, easy to ride
Cons: Long, pricey
While this was not the recumbent that started the movement here in the US, it is basically the "standard" in recumbents.
This is one of the most comfortable designs for just about any type of riding. Whether on a trail, country road or on a track racing, this bike is completely at home.
The different steering takes about 15 minutes to get the hang of, more for some. But one thing you will find...you won't be able to keep that grin from ear to ear off your face!
No neck ache, no SEAT ache, no wrist ache and certainly no back ache! And did I say these are not to be left behind in the speed department for those who want to go fast?
It was this very frame style enclosed in a full fairing that won the DuPont prize for breaking the 65 MPH speed record.
So, comfort, pain free, fast, safe, all you could ask for in a recumbent bike you can find in the Tour Easy.
