Pros: Rechargeable, Long Lasting LED Bulb, Waterproof, Durable Cons: Low Brightness, Low Stamina, Does Not Float, Tiring to Recharge
The flashlight being reviewed is not the "Excalibur Micro Forever Flashlight" but rather a cheaper replica (Obtained from Eternity Flashlights). Although similar looking to the Excalibur Micro Forever Flashlight, there are subtle differences in both ...
Pros: Neat light, lightweight, no batteries required, uses a capacitor instead of a normal battery. Cons: LED not isolated from shock thus can be easily broken.
Requires allot of shaking.
I saw these flashlights in various catalogues when they hit the market. They boasted about the really cool fact that they never needed batteries, just muscle power! I never felt the urge to buy one without seeing it first and I waited until it hit a ...
Pros: Needs no batteries or electricity. Nice, white light. Cons: Very dim. Gives out a small beam of light.
I just purchased my Unbreakable No-Battery Flashlight from Hammacher Schlemmer's website. I chose the small version due to the high price of the larger one. At the time, the small was on sale for $19.99. It has since returned to it's original price of ...
Great flashlight, but watch out TV by bosconian ,Mar 08 '04
Pros: tough, works every time Cons: can hurt tv or magnetic media.
I have had this light for three months now and I will say that I love it. Tough as nails, reliable, bright, nice to have around.
The only thing I have noticed is that the magnet in the handle is VERY strong. I found this out when I set the flashlight down on top of my television one evening. I thought that the picture tube was going bad. Everything was trippy psychadelic pink and chartreuse. The next day the tv was fine. I didn't realize then that I had moved the flashlight. Speaking to a tech friend of mine I found out that you can permanently screw up a tv tube with a magnet this strong. So just beware. Keep it away from tv's and monitors. I also suspect that this sucker may be strong enough to erase video and audio tape, or even wipe a credit card strip, though I haven't had the desire to try it out.
