I bought this item for my mother and step-father whom are addicted to the Weather Channel.

The display is very large obviously geared to the older, less site advantaged population who would be the likely receiver of this as a gift. The self setting time/date feature from the atomic clock is also a nice plus.

Mounting the three sensors was easy and my mother didn't even have to call to ask me to do it for her. They are non-destructive to the part of the house she put them on.

This was a gift so for $80.00 dollars starter batteries would have been nice, and being a gift I didn't read that they weren't included. (I hate giving a gift that forces the receiver to buy more stuff; luckily she has a battery drawer.)

The weather display is of cute pictures making a quick glance all that is needed for basic info.
