Unethical, Immoral, Scam--Stay Clear of Mercantila!!! by madbrad I ordered an elliptical machine from Mercantila. Customer service agent called me because there were "questions" about my order. It turns out she only wanted to sell me an extended warranty, but she did say my order would ship in no later than one week. Three weeks passed. Mercantila didn't respond to my daily requests for a status update via their website. I called the customer service agent and left messages, but she never called me back. It's amazing how quickly she called me back when trying to sell me an extended warranty, though. To make a long, painful story short, I had to get my credit card company to file a chargeback against PayPal before PayPal would do anything about refunding my money. I'm sure Mercantila never replied to the dispute I filed with PayPal, but I have my money back and it's PayPal's problem now. Mercantila is unethical, immoral, and obviously a scam organization. The BBB removed Mercantila's membership due to too many unresolved complaints. There are countless stories of bad experiences with Mercantila posted all over the Internet. STAY CLEAR OF MERCANTILA!!!

Unpleasent for the educated consumer by econsumer411 When matching online competitor prices, they always throw shipping prices eventhough they physically have the tire in stock. Charges $15/tire to mount when your local mom and pop shop usually does it for $5/tire. No idea what this company trains and pays their what appears to be "commissioned" sales people to try to scrape every hard working American dollars to them. The wait is horrible, usually over an hour... You would figure the guys in the working bay are smart considering they know you've paid alot for their product, service, and warranties that they'll be a bit disgruntled and watch every work done. Which I have, and they did improper balance on all my tires... So to every consumer, BEWARE OF DISCOUNT TIRE...

Doesn't get better than this! Highly recommended... I'll be back! by rg4073 Good info on tires; good choices; very easy on-line ordering; AND easy to set up appointment for local installation. Received prompt, courteous and upbeat confirmation call. Upon arrival at local store, was helped quickly and - again -very courteously. Was given an estimate of 45 minutes to install new tires. Showroom, customer lounge and restroom were modern and clean. Walked over to a nearby restaurant to get breakfast and everything was done when I returned. The tire tech explained the rotation and balance program to me, provided me with all the paperwork and I was out the door and on my way home - 44 minutes after I arrived! Doesn't get better than that! Highly recommended... I'll be back!

Slow Delivery, poor tracking system & customer service by supwm I ordered $250 worth of girl bedding items. Items were supposed to ship within 2 days. It's been over a week and the products have not been shipped. I called Customer Services and tried to cancel my order but they couldn't do it. They said the order already went to their warehouse, and they couldn't track it either. All I could do was to desperately wait for my order to deliver.

Customer Service was not helpful either until I requested to speak with the Customer Service Manager. In addition to a slow delivery and a poor customer service, I couldn't find my order on my account - my account has no history of orders! I will not order from The Company Store again or recommend this store to anyone. |

Pretty slick but has limitations by zelenkajl Pros: Nice form factor, solid build, mostly simple and intuitive, clear screen, good audio.
Cons: Fairly short battery life, awkward web browsing with small screen and keyboard. Even though this has been out for at least a couple years it is still quite nice if all you need is a music machine with light web capability. Construction is very solid and use is mostly intuitive but requires some tinkering to get it up and running properly. As with all machines of this type web browsing is quite cumbersome but it really shines as an audio/video device with drag and drop of mp3 and jpeg files to the memory card which needs to be 1Gb rather than the 64Mb that comes with it. Music playback from streaming radio or onboard mp3's sounds very good but it would have been nice to have some audio enhancements as well as an FM radio. Battery life is suppose to be at least 3 hours but I don't get much more than an hour with wifi on which seems correct as the battery is quite small and the relatively large screen draws down the power also.In all a nice portable toy available as a refurb for less than a couple hundred bucks.

Very good! by rjnaylor Adorama has been good to buy from. Customer service has been knowledgeable and able to accommodate things like not sending back-ordered items when you are on vacation. We have purchased a number of times from Adorama and it is our camera vendor of choice.

Frustrating,Big hassle. by acgreg They had speedy shipping,too bad they sent the wrong pair of sunglasses!.I have nothing but disdain for these folks.According to UPS,they recived the glasses back on 11/8/2008,it's now the 21st and I'm still getting the runaround.I wouldn't reccomend these people to anyone.Next time I'll go to sunglass hut and get overcharged but at least it will be hassle feee.

They basically stole $170 from me! Back in July, I ordered a digital camera. it is now Nov, almost thanksgiving, and I still have yet to recieve anything. I bought the camera elsewhere, and fotoconnection keeps telling me that they are refunding my credit card. But nothing ever happens. I've called every week, no results. They are thieves, and I am glad I only got burned for the $170. It could have been a lot worst. Save yourself the trouble and never do business with fotoconnection.com |

Piece of cake buying experience by front-4 Shopped for a Tag Carrera online. Chatted online with a rep to confirm price and availability. Called to place order. Watch was shipped that day, arrived the next day in perfect condition. No extra links for band included (won't need them anyway) No direct Tag warranty. Washington DC. Since the concert was sold out we had to use a ticket liquidator. I was leery but heard Stubhub was a legit company. We received the tickets within 2 days by Fedex. The tickets were paper tickets the buyer had printed on their own . Excited about the concert we made the 200 mile drive to DC. Once we entered the Verizon Center a ticket agent scanned our tickets which came up REFUND. We were told to talk to the box office. The box office said they are not responsible for 3rd party ticket sales, so sorry. I called Stubhub immediately and was told they would email a form to complain and request a ticket refund, so sorry. It's now 5 days later and Stubhub will not return my call or give me any information in regards to my refund. Even though they said I would have a response within 48 hours. I cannot state strongly enough to stay far away from this company. Especially if you want to see the venue. We were not the only persons scammed that night. Many persons were holding the same type of paper tickets and were denied entry. |

If you have a problem with an order, there is no quick way to get a resolution. I ordered 2 textbooks and paid extra for expedited delivery. The first book came quickly -- within 4 days but it was not in the condition I ordered. I ordered a brand new book. I received a used book with someone's name written in the front cover. I contacted the seller and told them I would keep the used book but I wanted a price adjustment. The seller just ignored my email. I am still waiting for the second book. It has been 11 days and I have to wait another 5 days before I can file a claim. I contacted that seller as well to inquire about the shipping status. That seller also ignored my email. Because all sales are final at half.com, I cannot order the book elsewhere and return the book from half.com when it arrives. I don't consider 11 days expedited shipping. I paid extra so I would not have to wait 11 days for my order.

There is only one person there as fas as I know that does everything: Being a president, janitor, shipping, receiving. It took over two months for me to receive my refund, like the other customer mentioned, I kept being directed to the help page. They don't have nothing in stock and all deal with drop shippers. This store is all bogus, so is the supposed "president".

Very Good by bdeckard I bought a JVC RS-1x projector form Digital Craze. Transaction was perfect. They had problems with the warehouse they were working with..... It took an extra week to arrive. Bad experience with this site!!!!! by altego Ordered a 37 Inch LCD TV, Site accepted my order charged my card this was on the 16th. It was a just announced sale (That day). I would check the status of my order every day. It kept saying processing. When I checked on the 20th in the morning it was still processing. No e-mail notifications, No phone calls nothing. When I checked the evening of the 20th it said order was canceled. Sent numerous e-mails, No response and now am disputing charges what a scam! Don't use! Buyer beware!!! I passed up several other great TV deals waiting for this thing! It makes me sick that they can treat people this way!
