Be wary before you purchase something from this website. I had a catalog the clothes looked nice and were very well priced but boy was i wrong. Upon placing my first order I ordered 2 dresses for 2 special occasions I had coming up. Both look nothing like they did on-line or in the book. One came a month a week later, apparently on back order, then it was the wrong size! The invoice said small, the bag it was in said small yet it was a medium. Pretty upsetting after it was late a day before my graduation not much I can do, Just run around and look for a new one. Oddly enough I have never had a problem ordering things from respected websites on-line, But i learned my lesson.

Wow, how odd. I requested that website to be in the database for the sole reason to review it and am doing so tonight.

I didn't have that bad of an experience but the sizing is woefully wrong and things are cut very small.

I will be writing my review in minutes. I guess I am lucky I didn't have major problems but I certainly wasn't overwhelmed with the clothing. You are right. They sure don't look like they do on the site or catalog in real life. Too bad too because they have some really cute looking items for good prices.

I won't go back there.

Just ordered something from Body Central now saw your review.....Do you still feel this way about the quality of their clothing?

The styles at bodyc.com are absolute great, as they are in their stores. I have bought quite a few dresses, shorts, and shirts there, and have not been disappointed.

I have only had one dress that I thought should have been a thicker fabric, but all of the other clothing was great.

One thing that others have said about it that IS true is that the clothing that says small is in fact small. But don't blame this on the store. There are people who do still correspond to the correct sizes that we had about 20-30 years ago, and just because the store uses correct sizing (a size 0 should be about as small as a person could get) doesn't mean that the clothing is sized "too small."

There are plenty of stores that size their clothing to make women who while not large are certainly not the "size 5s" they think they are. I love this store because it makes clothes that are good looking and can fit even some of the smaller women out there.

Slim women need clothing too, and body central does a great job of giving it too them.

I've been a customer of BodyCentral for quite some time. They and "Venus" are very similar. I have NEVER had any problem with this company. One though must remember that any company could make the occasional mistake.

The quality of the clothing may not be to designer standards but it is far better than the price. I've actually had experienced with the sizing carrying too large rather than too small. I am a shapely petite woman and wish they would also carry Xsmall as a size as well.
