One thing these forums would be great for is suggesting cars to people in the market. The way I envision it is people would start a thread specifying their wants/needs, with a title like "ISO $25,000 compact SUV," and then people here could offer various suggestions.

I'd suggest creating a special forum for it, but that's not going to happen. My next suggestion would be to use the "sedans" etc. forums, but many people consider vehicles from multiple categories. So maybe just in this one.

I'm on board. Some of this sort of thing has already happened, most recently with a search for an affordable used car. Are you considering putting a pointer on TrueDelta that points here for such questions?
