Question about Listing

I wanted to write a book review. I searched using the authors name and snippet of the title and the engine returned one book.

The author and complete title match my book. The picture is for a different book with the same character. The description and ISBN are for yet a third book with this character. Shopping links on the page go to all three books
that are part of the listing.

Question... how do I know which book the entry really is for?

RE: Question about Listing

Ack. I'd shake my head over the database, but I do have to admit that some of this confusion is caused by the publishing world itself and the complicated nature of book sales.

Normally, I'd suggest going with the one that matches the ISBN. Have you tried an ISBN search yet?

Yes, I did, and my book didn't come up.

RE: Question about Listing

Don't for get to try a google search.

The way I see it, you have two choices. Post your review under the existing listing and shrug your shoulders over the database confusion. After all, it's not like listings are etched in stone. The next time eeps fiddles with things the listing could be fixed or evaporate in a puff of smoke.

The other option is to SAP it. Less IS and some extra hurdles to jump, but when you create your own listing at least you know it's correct.

Neither solution is perfect.

I may go with choice "C" - forget the whole thing!

Thanks both for your input.
