Dragonlance

Hi!

I just finished reading the Dragonlance Chronicles, the Raistlin Chronicles, and am on the last novel of the Legends Series. What Dragonlance series comes next? The War of Souls series or the Chaos Wars Series or another series I don’t know about yet? Since they tend to build on each other, I want to make sure and read them in order. Does anyone know the order of the Dragonlance series? Thanks in advance.

RE: Dragonlance

Here's an article on the recommended reading order. I hope it helps!

RE: Dragonlance

Actually, I'd recommend stopping there.

For some reason the rest of the series really disappointed me, perhaps because I'm so passionate about the first two trilogies. Those were fantastic literature, well worth reading no matter what genre you enjoy. The others sort of went downhill after that, though there are a few standalones that are worthy.

I'd sooner recommend you try some of Weis and Hickman's other collaborations. The Death Gate books are good, and so are the Rose of the Prophet books. The Darksword trilogy I didn't care for.

I've heard there were some continuity problems as well, mostly because of different authors writing prequels and sequels and things not being coordinated well.

RE: Dragonlance

I think that there is a book of stories in between the next series and the first few. I forget what it is called. I haven't read past it though. Some of the stories were already covered in other collections though.
