raptorbill's Full Review: Motorola H371 Bluetooth Headset
We recently picked up two of these headsets when we switched to our new LG CU-515 cell phones (see my other review).
AT&T was running a "special deal" that threw this headset in for only $10 more.
We haven't been big fans of Bluetooth headsets in the past as they tended to have crummy sound quality and short battery life. Our prior headset was a Jabra that just wasn't very good.
The H371 on the other hand seems perfectly acceptable. While the sound quality is not quite as good as using the phone with no headset (which is excellent by the way) - the H371 is fine.
The battery life seems fine too. We've used these headsets for a few days now and have not run out of talk time. We should point out, however that we don't spend a whole lot of time on the phone during the day and are not going to walk around with a stop watch to time the thing.
The only annoyance is a slight sound lag that is typical of all Bluetooth devices.
The headset is easy to operate with only 4 buttons: A big "Answer/Call" button, a small power on/off button and volume up and down buttons.
It takes a little practice to work the volume up/down buttons when the unit is on your ear - but it's doable.
The unit is light and comfortable on your ear and stays securely in place once adjusted to your ear.
The headset also pairs flawlessly with our LG phones and we've not discovered any incompatibilities using a phone from a Motorola competitor.
