Camp Kahdalea is the best place in the whole entire world. Trust me when i say that it is a wonderful place to grow as a christian and to develop a greater understanding of your friends and family. Friends at camp arent like your friends at home they ...
Pros: Camp, campers, and staff were awesome! Cons: None
If you are looking for the best summer ever... Think no more! At camp Kahdalea I tried things that I've never dreamed of doing... Rock climbing, high ropes course, archery, caving... I even shot a gun in riflery! I went for 5 ½ weeks, but it was so fun that time went by very quickly.
They have apples, peaches and bananas for campers to eat anytime. After every dinner you can have desert. This camp has a Christian focus, which allows campers to go to optional mass every Sunday. Among other activities offered are: canoeing, horseback riding, tennis, swimming, life guarding certification, dashing, stuttering, dance, drama, field sports, arts and crafts and even more. I had the best time ever... Come and you will enjoy it too.
Camp kahdalea is the best camp. There are so many activities to do, and you make the best friends you'll ever have. It is for girls aged about 8-17, and is a Christian camp, with optional mass on Sundays. Some of the activities include riflery, archery, drama, dance, gymnastics, horse-riding, canoeing and many more. Every day there are special activities in the evening, filled with fun. There are trips going out every day to discover the wonderful outdoors, these include things from caving, to swimming in waterfalls! You can go for 2-9weeks, with the main session at 5 1/2 weeks long, though it flys by. If you sign up early, you get to go on a free trip, white water rafting, to rockys ( a typical 50's diner) or a $30 voucher for the shop. The food at kahdalea is also really good, and never lets you down when your hungry. This is the camp everyone has always dreamt of.

Pros: Awesome Christian experience for kids and parents Cons: NONE
We just returned from picking our kids up from Camp Kahdalea. They were without TV, ipods, video games, candy and selfish behavior for an entire month! The Christian ideas of not only the owners, but also the counselors make this a wonderment for all involved. The Trufants are the owners, and they take each child's needs as important and help mold them into confident, happy people. The atmosphere is not competetive, so if you are looking for that, then this camp is not for you. Kids get to try things at their own pace and are encouraged if they want to try more. They will learn how to respect other's needs and will find out that giving is much better than receiving. The surroundings are beautiful. We went hiking in Brevard before picking up the kids and I must say the Pisgah National Forest is amazing. Send you kids to Kahadalea, they and you will LOVE IT! Pete@piclaimsservice.com
