Pros: Excellent value for your money. Crisp, bright view through the optics. 25 year warranty ! Cons: Perhaps a tad on the heavy side, case not suitable for field use.
Hey, what kinda bird izzat? My wife knows because she has had her Nikon Action EX 10 X 50 binocular for the better part of a year now. Im happy to say she is quite fond of them. My wife is an avid birder and when shes not ...
Pros: Reasonable price for quality terrestrial and astronomical binocular. Quality optics. Cons: Inconvenient lens caps. No shoulder strap for case.
Why I Bought This Product I bought the Nikon Action EX Extreme 10 x 50 All Terrain Binocular as a general purpose binocular but with a special emphasis on using it in amateur astronomy as a telescope substitute for quickly scanning the night ...
Pros: Tough, Affordable, Extensive distance perception, Great in all conditions, and 25 year warranty
Cons: Heavy, and awkward to carry.
I bought the binoculars for primarily for the hunts I attend; Every hunt I have been on I would not have seen the deer, or elk, or whatever game I am hunting without the help of these wonderful binoculars. This fall, I was on the archery hunt, beautiful ...
Pros: Sharp bright image, wide field of view. Good for day, night, or astronomy. Cons: Somewhat heavy (like most 10x50s); maybe fragile. Odd case and lens caps.
I collect and repair moderately-priced binoculars and telescopes, and this is my favorite, for both land viewing and astronomy. Brilliant sharp images; Nikon's camera expertise (e.g. lens coatings) really shows. They're good at night, better than 7x50 ...
Pros: Rugged, good all around glasses. Cons: A tad heavy, eyecups stick, loud eyepiece cover.
I purchased these binoculars primarily for hunting. They have proven themselves to be a quality pair of glasses that I know I can go to in almost any conditions. Having survived two full years of hunting, in conditions ranging from 6' of snow to September heat and dust. They have shown to be less prone to fogging than many of the Nikon non-waterproof glasses. Good clarity and fine adjustment for focus.
These are heavy and should be used with the new over shoulder style of binocular straps.
My only complaints are the adjustable eye cups will get dirty and stick and the hard plastic eyepiece cover will "clack" against the scope body if it is not secured. This is a bad thing when you are trying to sneak up on animals.
Pros: Their Nikons! Bright and clear. Nice case Cons: None
A lifetime adherent of Nikon optics for photography, binoculars and rifle scopes, i chose Nikon for a powerful field binocular to augment my sportview that i use at football games. These are powerful scopes, lightweight, durable, and very bright even in low light.
