My Great Nephew is now a proud Papa! :)

I am the Mother of two grown children, the Aunt of two “nutty” nieces, a nephew that will drive a sane person crazy, Great Aunt of four and I am a widow.

I am not the average consumer. I am a senior citizen with a very limited budget. Most of the reviews that I have written are in relation to products that I deemed to be necessities. I hope that the information you gather from my product reviews will be of some assistance to you.

The reviews that I have written in the Pet category are based solely on what I have learned while providing a home for orphaned animals. I am not a rescuer, nor do I have any background in Veterinary medicine. I was fortunate to have a knowledgeable and outspoken Veterinarian; and it is from him, that I gained a better understanding of my canine and feline crew.

Other reviews:
I have written a few tool and lawn & garden reviews. I am a DIYer and have been for many years; I won’t pay someone to do a job if I know that I can do it myself. Just because I am a woman, doesn’t mean I don’t know beans about tools or landscaping. In this area, I am more concerned about price, reliability and ease of use. If a $20 tool can do the same job as a $100 tool, why waste grocery money on a fancy name? If I review it…I own it and have used the product.

My favorite website is petfinder.com. The link provided above, will take you to Grand Paws Cat Shelter. Having visited Mary’s shelter, I must say, that I was very impressed. The cleanliness and environment are outstanding and it is obvious that she truly cares about her feline community. Mary provides health and emotional support for her foster felines, with the help of donations. She seems to have an abundance of room in her heart for castaway kitties.

Mary now has more furkids than she can comfortably provide for. Her shelter is full and she needs homes for her feline charges. If you are looking to adopt a feline and happen to be in her vicinity (Bell, FL), please contact this wonderful lady.
All of Mary's feline friends are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and Leukemia before they are adopted out.
